Still humming along

Last week the Roux had one really bad day. She just flat out died and her symptoms were looking like she'd need a new battery and probably an alternator. But no! The lovely gentlemen at Clyde's Auto on 38th St in PoHo discovered it was just a cable that was worn out. Roux got a new cable, fresh air filter, oil change and a few other treats and was back on her way Tuesday.

I pretty much destroyed a favorite pair of shoes before walking barefoot most of the six block trek home in 98-degree weather. I did enjoy a brief walk through the kiddie pool in the park.

I'm still lining up the perks and need some help with the video to get this gig on indiegogo. Any aspiring directors out there?

*I decided to Frenchify her name, and yeah, that the car's a girl...

Here's another nice woodie for inspiration. I think it might be one of these:

You know you want one of these...

Getting our premiums lined up for indiegogo. Here's just one (well, two) of many exciting things to come! Thanks to Mike Tincher for the design help.

Welcome!

Here's my poor Plain Jane of a wagon as it looks today. A pretty sorry site, and a heck of a challenge to find in the Target parking lot...

And here's what "Ru" aspires to, but knows isn't *quite* realistic.

We'll have an www.indiegogo.com campaign mounted in the next week or so to start this ugly duckling on her way to being a lime green and faux wood swan of a station wagon!
